Since our opening in 2021, Yenze Theatre Conservatoire has been working day and night to achieve one main mission: to bring exceptional and professional actors to the community of Kampala.

We want our audiences to experience skilled, disciplined and tenacious stars on stage as they are entertained by moving and emotional pieces of culture.

Our Story

Yenze Theatre Conservatoire, a drama school and theatre production company based in Kampala, Uganda, has been operating for three years.

Founded by Aganza Kisaka, an award-winning actress, our mission is to offer comprehensive training to local performing artists.

We achieve this through long-term certified courses, access to state-of-the-art creative facilities, and the opportunity to participate in high-caliber theatre productions.

Yenze Theatre Conservatoire aims:

1. To skill actors with techniques, language and tools to better their performance craft.

2. To provide employment opportunities for creatives.

3. To provide a performance arts space rich in resources and creativity for the world to witness Ugandan performance.

4. Generate unique homegrown productions that are competitive on the international stage.
